Overview
Fieldguard is a mobile application designed to provide real-time air threat alerts and emergency notifications. The app monitors selected regions and sends push notifications when air alerts are issued, helping users stay informed about potential threats in their area.

- 🟢 All-Clear: Notifications when air alerts end

Getting Started
1. Initial Setup
- Download and install Fieldguard from your app store
- Launch the app
- Choose your subscription option:
- Free Trial: 7-day trial period
- Organization Key: Enter your organization's license key
2. Region Selection
- Tap the "Regions" tab at the bottom
- Browse available regions
- Select the regions you want to monitor
- Your selected regions will appear on the main Status screen

- You'll see the "Reliable Alert Delivery" section

• This prevents Android from killing the app to save battery

• This allows alerts to sound even when your phone is on silent

4. Sound Configuration
Configure which alert types you want to hear:
- Level 4 Alerts: Enable/disable high-priority threat sounds
- Level 3 Alerts: Enable/disable medium-priority threat sounds
- Level 2 Alerts: Enable/disable low-priority threat sounds
- All-Clear: Enable/disable end-of-alert sounds
Using the App
Status Screen (Main Dashboard)
- View real-time status of your selected regions
- Green border: No active alerts
- Yellow border: Low-level threat (Level 2)
- Orange border: Medium-level threat (Level 3)
- Red border: High-level threat (Level 4+)
- Tap any region to view detailed alert history
SOS Function
- Tap the red "SOS" button (center of bottom navigation)
- Grant location permission when prompted
- Your SOS signal will be sent with your coordinates
- Your security officer can see your SOS alert with location
Safety Check Function
1. Receiving Safety Check Requests:
- You'll receive a push notification asking if you're safe
- On Android 14+, this alert appears over your lock screen
- Tap the notification to respond

- Tap "I'M OK" to confirm your safety status
- Your administrator will receive confirmation that you're okay
- Always respond promptly - this helps your organization track personnel safety
3. Important Notes:
- Safety checks are sent during emergencies or drills
- You must grant Full-Screen Permission for these alerts to work properly
- Non-response may trigger follow-up from your administrator

- Tap the notification bell icon in the top-right
- View your notification history
Troubleshooting
Not Receiving Alerts?
For Android Users - Check These Settings:
- Go to Sound Settings tab
- Verify all permissions are granted:
- Battery Optimization: Should show "Allowed"
- DND Access: Should show "Allowed"
- Full-Screen Permission: Should show "Granted" (CRITICAL for Safety Checks)
- Check System Settings:
- Go to Settings > Apps > Fieldguard > Notifications
- Ensure notifications are enabled
- Check that all notification categories are enabled
- Battery Settings:
- Go to Settings > Battery > Battery Optimization
- Find Fieldguard and set to "Don't optimize" or "Unrestricted"
- Do Not Disturb:
- Go to Settings > Sound > Do Not Disturb
- Ensure Fieldguard is allowed to bypass DND
- Auto-Start (for Xiaomi/Huawei):
- Go to Settings > Apps > Fieldguard > Auto-start
- Enable auto-start for Fieldguard
Common Issues:
"No regions selected"
- Go to Regions tab and select at least one region to monitor
"Subscription Required"
- Activate your organization key or start a free trial
- Go to Account tab to manage subscription
App not updating automatically
- The app checks for updates every time you open it
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection
Not receiving Safety Check alerts:
- Ensure Full-Screen Permission is granted in Sound Settings
- Check that notifications are enabled in system settings
- Make sure the app is not force-closed
